‘Box office queen’: Reactions as Funke Akindele’s ‘Battle on Buka Street’ becomes highest-grossing Nigerian film
Nigerian actress, producer and politician, Funke Akindele’s movie, “Battle on Buka Street” has become the highest-grossing Nigerian film of all time at the box office.
With this Funke Akindele broke the record of her 2020 released film, “Omo Ghetto The Saga”.
At the box office, Battle on Buka Street grossed 640 million naira, topping Omo Ghetto the Saga’s 636 million naira.
This was revealed by a post shared by Film One on their Instagram page.
Film One noted that the only competition Funke has is herself.
