Bike-powered pub concept eyes Charlotte – WSOC TV

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This bike tavern on wheels expects to debut in Charlotte next year.

Pedal Pub is seeking a franchisee for two units — with both to be in operation by May.

That concept allows groups of up to 16 to ride, drink — customers bring their own alcohol — and experience the city with stops at local breweries, bars and restaurants along the way. Tours are typically two hours.

Pedal Pub has been fielding inquiries from potential operators, says Shane Dunn, chief development officer.
