Ana Navarro hilariously compares The View cohost to her dog: 'You're both bitches'

Weeks after the cohosts engaged in perhaps their most long-standing battle of the decade via the contentious Pooch Pageant that left friendships tattered and canines scorned at the Hot Topics table, Sara Haines is once again in the comedic dog pound after lovingly attempting to shade her fellow The View panelist Ana Navarro live on air.

During a Friday morning discussion about pets bearing similarities to their owners, Haines cracked a joke about Navarro's beloved (and, with 30,000 followers on Instagram, iconic) puppy, ChaCha Cárdenas, quipping that ChaCha is "sweet," "smiles" regularly, and "greets everyone" in the morning — unlike Navarro in the morning before filming the show.

"Okay. ChaCha is like you, in that you're both bitches," Navarro jokingly clapped back as Haines and the studio audience erupted in laughter.

Later, Alyssa Farah Griffin showed a clip of her dog, Herbie, howling at the television — which she said felt similar to her own attempts to "get in at the Hot Topics table."

The epic exchange came after The View's Pooch Pageant resulted in intense competitive energy among the cohosts, with Behar's dog, Bernie, snapping at some of the other pets on set as they competed for a prize — which was ultimately won by Sunny Hostin's dogs.

On the show's companion Behind the Table podcast, producer Brian Teta regularly addresses the fallout from the Pooch Pageant — particularly Navarro's discontent with the results.

Navarro again brought up Hostin's victory on Friday's episode during an interview with Nyad actress Annette Bening, who also said she'd like to discuss her 12-year-old canine companion — which prompted Hostin to bring up her own dogs.

"Brian, how many more segments about Sunny's dogs do I have to sit through?" Navarro cut in, looking off-camera toward Teta. "We all know that ChaCha won [the Pooch Pageant], and she was ripped off. That was rigged."

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
