Amid Charles Barkley wanting to re-unite with Michael Jordan, fans are left perplexed with the GOAT purposely ignoring Chuck to make him feel bad
Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley are all over the NBA headlines as the basketball world has been recently discussing their decade-long beef which started because of Chuck. But now Charles Barkley wants to fix things with his former best friend. But that’s going to be a tough and long road. As Michael Jordan has taken his words personally and we all know how pure of a hater Black Jesus is.
The friendship between Chuck and MJ broke around 10 years ago. When Charles Barkley publically criticized Michael Jordan for his executive role with the Charlotte Bobcats (Charlotte Hornets). Recalling that exact incident back on Taylor Rooks’ podcast he explained how things went down and wrong between them. And, while doing so he also mentioned how he wants to end the beef now.
Charles Barkley recalling the incident said: “It’s a really unfortunate situation for him and me. But you know Taylor imma do my job first and foremost. Because I can’t criticize other coaches and general managers and give him a pass because he is my best friend. I just can’t do that. I said Michael gotta surround himself with better people… And, I said I worry about him being successful… I didn’t think he had a good enough supporting cast around him in the front office to be successful.”
Further Charles Barkley added that he didn’t had no problem saying that as it was the truth. He also mentioned the phone call he had with Michael Jordan, where Black Jesus took offense and how that unpleasant call turned out to be the last time they talked.
Further, when Taylor Rooks asked Charles Barkley about him knowing how things will turn out to be in the future after that phone call. Replying to it Chuck said: “I thought it would blow over, to be honest with you, and, he’s stubborn, and I’m stubborn and that’s it.”
Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan haven’t spoken to each other in 10 years over something Charles said on air.
He expands on what happened and what he would say to him if he had the chance.

Charles Barkley also mentioned what he’ll say to Michael Jordan now if they meet or have a word. As he said: “I would say that what I said was what I believed then. I’m sorry you were offended. Let’s get over this bulls**t and get back to playing golf and having fun.”
Further, at the podcast, they also discussed how MJ and Chuck have been in the same room multiple times since they stopped talking. But just didn’t talk and ignored each other during those times as well. One such instance whose video has resurfaced on the internet is the NBA 75 Ceremony were both the legends of the game were very close but far from each other.

Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley both were present during the NBA 75 Ceremony. MJ after his introduction and entry towards the main stage dapped many legends of the game like LeBron James, Dennis Rodman and others. If anything, Charles has been proved correctly. Maybe Jordan should take the criticism and learn from it. Is Jordan the GOAT, without a doubt, but playing the game does not mean that one is able to manage a team.

Many around the league now hope the former best friends are able to sort out the ugly things between them. As everyone wants them to be friends again and give out more stories and content to the basketball world. Also, many fans believe Charles Barkley‘s comments weren’t wrong but he should have addressed Jordan personally first instead of attacking his best friend publically. And, now things at Charlotte Hornets are great as MJ and Co. are building a much better team now.
