Super Mario RPG is a game on the Nintendo Switch, and acts as a remake of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars — which was originally released back on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The game features various playable characters — Such as Geno and Mallow. Each of these characters can be equipped with items to make them more effective in battles. One such accessory item is the Ghost Medal, but in order to get it you will need to collect three hidden flags for the Three Musty Fears.

Where Are The Hidden Flags
When Mario uses the bed at Monstro Town, three ghosts will appear and instruct him to seek out three flags that have been hidden in the game. Collecting these flags is very simple. All you need to do is go up to a specific location and press the A button when you are prompted to “look.” This bed can be located by traveling to Monstro Town and leaving the first room you arrive in. Head northwest and pass the stone stairs to see a series of doors. Enter through the first door to find a room with a bed in it and use the Mushroom lamp to turn off the lights before jumping onto the bed.
The Boo Flag
For the first flag, head on over to Yo’ster Isle — you will unlock access to this location from the Pipe Vault. Follow along the racetrack and you will see “GOAL” at the end of it. The Boo Flag can be found by interacting with the space between the “O” and the “A” letters on the ground.
The Dry Bones Flag
For the next flag, travel to Mario’s Pad. Follow the road and take the first right to get to Mario House. Look underneath the bed and you will find the Dry Bone Flag.
The Greaper Flag
Head on over to Rose Town and directly ahead of you will be a wooden Welcome sign. Go around this sign and then walk up to it to get the prompt and collect the final flag, the Greaper Flag.
Getting The Ghost Medal From The Three Musty Fears
Return to Monstro Town, go back to the room with the bed, turn off the lights, and use the bed. This will trigger a cutscene with the Three Musty Fears, followed by receiving the Ghost Medal. The description and effect of the Ghost Medal reads as follows, “Doubles defense during battle.”
