5 Summer-to-Fall Outfit Ideas Inspired by Paris Street Style

Not sure about you, but I can't seem to stop whining about summer outfit fatigue and how I'm dying to wear my fall looks now. (Come to me, leather moto jacket...) But I live in 90-plus degree (and 200 percent humidity) New York City and not 50-all-year-round San Francisco or the like. So all I can do is dream and strategize for the next season. Luckily, there's always Paris—Paris Couture Week, that is—and all the fabulous street style for inspiration. Since, you know, the street-style stars always seems to be seasons ahead of what the actual weather reports are predicting. Let's check out these five chic layered looks to aspire to:

Blogger Sofie Valkiers mixed color, texture, and seasons by layering a shaggy magenta cardigan over a spectacular pearl and bow embellished dress by Mary Katrantzou and toting an aqua blue top-handle bag by Delvaux. The color mix still works for summer, while the weight of the sweater makes me dream of fall. Her nude lace-up gladiator heels by Schutz bridge the seasons and somehow manage to be neutral and nondistracting but ridiculously hot at the same time.
